Prime Minister Edi Rama admitted yesterday that Albanian foreign policy is a failure. While presenting himself as a global leader and attempting to do all the work related to foreign relations himself, Rama admitted yesterday at a group meeting that the Foreign Ministry is a ministry where only gossip is done and there are no benefits.
To be realistic, the only minister who revived this ministry was Ditmir Bushati. Since his departure, all the others have been failures, having used the post only for travel and to employ their own people in diplomatic headquarters.
" The Foreign Ministry is like the Albanian Public Television. It is another major failure of ours. I have said it and I am saying it again. It is not an institution in function of these challenges because it has never been reformed. Even a law that we made was not a law or a reform, it was a toilet. Makeup! The law must pave the way for reform, to bring in fresh air ," Rama said yesterday. But he forgot to state that the cause of this failure is himself.
Rama has used the Foreign Ministry as a crutch and has appointed people who have nothing to do with that job. The case of Gent Caka is the clearest example, where Rama introduced a kid by leaving NATO secrets and relations with foreign countries in his hands. Olta Xhaçka also destroyed the Foreign Ministry, while the appointment of Igli Hasani was also a failure. But Spiropali is not doing well now, despite Rama boasting about him yesterday.
The second element that Rama forgot to mention is that he was the one who messed with the ambassadors. In 2023, a large number of appointments were made and Rama gave positions to former MPs and deputy ministers, none of whom had any connection to this function.
Bledi Çuçi's ex-wife, Zhaklina Peto, was appointed ambassador to Montenegro. Former MP Vasilika Hysi, although a law professor and with no connection to foreign policy, was appointed to the UN. Former MP Ervin Bushati, also unrelated to this function, was appointed ambassador to the USA. Majlinda Frangaj, Aleksandër Frangaj's sister, was appointed to the Vatican. Artemis Malo, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, was appointed Albania's ambassador to Canada. While Besart Kadia, who was taken over by the DP, became deputy minister and then ambassador to Azerbaijan. Journalist Mustafa Nano was appointed to Switzerland, but he later resigned. So if we look at the list, they are all scumbags. How can the foreign service move forward when people with no connection to this work are appointed? Pergjegjesi kryesor eshte vete kryeministri dhe askush tjeter vec tij. Ka vende me ambasadore dhe zyrtare diplomatike e konsullore te perjetshem. Pa llogaritur poste te pushtuara si Vatikani nga motra e Sandrit, nje injorante pa shkolle e kulture minimale. Jemi bere gazi i botes. Njelloj si RTSH. Ky dhe « lideri tjeter global » Salehu kane qe ne vitin 2006 qe kane vendosur me pakt te fshehte qe RTSH te drejtohet nga eksponente te vendosur nga TV private si Klan, Top Kanal, News24 etj… Qellimi ka qene shkaterrimi i RTSH. Ndaj kur del e flet kryeministri eshte njelloj me ate fabulen e hajdutet qe therret kapeni hajdutin. Kushdo ka tentuar te reformoje ate institucion e ka pesuar si nga Salehu dhe nga Rama (p.sh. ndjese paste A. Klosi dhe se fundmi Th. Gellci). Tani, Sandri, Vjollca dhe Goni (Duka) kane vendosur ta mbyllin fare televizionin publik e ti plasin nje a dy kulla ne territorin e tij, patjeter me projekt te zgjedhur me konkurs ndërkombëtar ku fitues do shpallet nje arQitekt nga armata e arQitekteve mondiale te kryeministrit me palle-osh ne europe.
Amanet Belën, Gysin dhe Linda Kar. I ikuri nga fiqiri bën një përpjekje me shashka. TV, mpj dhe çdo ministri tjetër janë punët e tija. Si dhe Bela
