The deputy of the Democratic Party, Flutura Açka, admits that the political force she was part of is divided and in this way she argues the mess of numbers in the meeting of the National Council held today, whether the quorum was met or not.
In an interview for the show "Debat" on "A2CNN", Açka said that the quorum had been met, and while the absence of a significant part of the members, Açka said that they are already part of another party, referring to "Re-establishment".
" You are referring to the old figures, if colleagues want to include colleagues who are already in another party, have competed in other forums, these members cannot be members of the National Council. It is another party, they have elected a president, I speak for the deputies, they cannot be included in this National Council, it is correct and there is no room for allusion ", said Açka.
The deputy does not talk about a division within the DP group. She says the goal is the same, but the approach is different.
" In today's meeting there were 8 MPs and the part that was absent yesterday, I don't judge them, they think that something is wrong in the middle, but the good thing was that they were discussed in the Council. The goal is the same, but the approach is different, someone wants the party chairman to be elected in September, someone now, someone wants from the base to the top, we change in approach and not in essence", added the deputy .
Açka also had an answer to Gazment Bardhin, who was against holding elections within the Party, but expressed his desire to postpone them to a second time.
" The General Secretary, the thing about the Council was that he was not leading it, but he is also the chairman of the group, the Secretary and the leader of the Council, there is something wrong with this. The Chairman of the Council is not replaced by anyone, the statute is clear, I could not lead it and the secretary would do it, but it did not happen, the statute is very clear. (...) Bardhi introduced deputies to the meeting of the Presidency without going to the Council, so there are no 2 agendas for the statute. The presidency did not deal with this issue at all, but we knew that these vacancies should be filled" , declared the deputy.
