Ahmetaj in this case could serve as a catalyst for the awakening of those deputies who have long disagreed with Edi Rama and his government, but have chosen not to speak.
Therefore, Edi prepared the operation to bring Plarent Ndreca to the Assembly as soon as possible, and to send a message to all those who are upset with him, in the parliamentary group, who is the model of a deputy that he is looking for for the Socialist Party.
Who is Plarent Ndreca?
A lawyer who served as a lawyer for the SP before coming to power, and then was Secretary General in three important ministries; such as that of education, tourism and the interior.
In the Ministry of Education, he dealt with the appeal of the administration, to the extent that he limited the time to go to the toilet. Politically, Ndreca did not campaign in his birthplace, Mirdita, but was sent as a political commissar to Astir e Yzberish, where he was also a candidate for deputy in Tirana district.
His impact on the territory was almost zero, he did not even gain authority, and he did not create a staff to run the SP in that area. He appeared with a group of strongmen on the day of the vote, to show that he is the man whom the Sultan has named 'Caushoglu'.
He was standing on April 25, 2021 in the bar in front of the portable voting centers of Astir and Yzberisht with a frown, as if to show strength. But it had nothing to do with the voters, the socialists of the organizations or the territory it covered.
The impact of the result that the SP received in units 13 and 14 was not even related to commissioner Ndreca, since the majority simply received leftist votes in that territory, where more came from the southern districts, which are not close to DP with Sali Berisha.
However, Ndreca, even though he failed to make a career in the party and government, has remained loyal to his boss. Typical model of a eunuch in politics, where impotence is valued more than the charisma of a character, activist, intellectual, or even an expert in SP.
Which means that ambition has been declared "haram" by the Sultan, when in reality it is the main motive for a political man, who wants to give his skills to the public to run an organization, department, or even be in Parliament.
