Julian Hodaj is discharged.
The Council of Ministers has dismissed Deputy Interior Minister Julian Hodajn from his post.
This dismissal comes after a clash with Prime Minister Edi Rama.
We recall that a few months ago, Rama was caught shouting on the streets of Rome. It is said that Rama was speaking in high tones and demanding an account from Hodaj.
Hodaj was also the co-leader of the working group that is negotiating the $140 million contract for the so-called Smart City project.

In accordance with Article 100 of the Constitution and point 2, Article 6, of Law No. 9000, dated 30.1.2003, “On the Organization and Functioning of the Council of Ministers”, upon the proposal of the Prime Minister, the Council of Ministers
DECIDED:
Mr. Julian Hodaj, Deputy Minister of Interior, is relieved of this duty.
This decision enters into force immediately and is published in the "Official Gazette".
