The deputy of the Democratic Party, Dashnor Sula, has stated that the changes in the Electoral Code favor Prime Minister Rama and harm the opposition a lot.
He also responded to the DP negotiator for the changes to the Code, Oerd Bykykbashi, according to which a part of the list will be kept closed, in order to protect the party's political figures.
" I heard Bylybashi say that we are closing the lists to prevent people from outside from entering. In this way, the principle of primaries falls. I believe that the change of the Electoral Code harmed the opposition. Even if they put me on those closed lists, I don't accept that I'm ashamed ", said Sula in "Breaking" with Fiori Dardha.
According to him, opposition supporters are demoralized after the changes to the Electoral Code.
" I'm taking Elbasan as an example, the first 5 will enter the Assembly directly and the lower part will fight for a maximum of 1 seat. In 2021, Rama left the strong figures below the safe list to gather votes. He also gave this message to the Congress.
