From October 5 to the end of December, when the parliamentary session was closed, the SP was not only not ready to dialogue about the opposition's demands for the establishment of investigative commissions, but responded to its action with parliamentary punishments.
Through the Secretariat of Ethics gathered physically and online, the majority expelled 29 democratic deputies, led by Sali Berisha and the head of the parliamentary group Gazment Bardhi. After it was seen that the disciplinary measure with a 10-day suspension was not deterring the minority action, the leftists took the initiative by later legislating in the Parliament to toughen the punishments up to 60 days.
In the space of three months, the socialists took 64 decisions in 10 meetings of the Secretariat of Ethics, after each plenary session, which the opposition did not allow to develop normally by lighting cigarette lighters and turning the chairs upside down. In total, the 29 deputies who were declared guilty by the socialists have been deprived of 623 days of work and salary.
The most punished among the Democrats is Flamur Noka with a 40-day suspension, and a request for 60 days, for which a decision has not yet been made, but he is expected to be the first to inaugurate the new regulation by being penalized for lighting of smokers in the last session, with 60 days from each work of the Parliament and parliamentary committees during 2024.
Deputy Bledion Nallbati was also expelled 5 times, depriving him of 50 days of work. In addition to the parliamentary punishment, the socialists have not been satisfied with the implementation of the old regulation against the democrat Nallbati, but have also reported him to SPAK for his physical collision with the majority colleague Vullnet Sina.
Even the head of the democratic parliamentary group, Gazment Bardhi, was in the top 5 of the deputies most "hit" by the SP through exclusions, avoiding him for 50 days from the parliamentary action of the opposition.
One of the most active DP women was Albana Vokshi, who was sentenced by the majority 4 times with 10 days of suspension. Saimir Korreshi had the same fate 4 times in a row, with the only exception that the last sentence was reduced to 3 days, with the argument that he had committed a "little crime".
33 opposition MPs, 9 supporters of the Berisha-Bardhi group, 11 from the ranks of the allies, as well as the two MPs Jorida Tabaku and Agron Shehaj escaped this action of exclusions.
