The leader of the Movement for National Development (LZHK), Dashamir Shehi, declared that there is no competition in the Democratic Party.
Shehi also said that Berisha has no opponents in the DP, because according to him, even those who oppose him, the leader of the Democrat Party expels them from the party. According to Shehi, former MP Ervin Salianji and Evi Kokalari should not enter the race for the leadership of the DP at all because according to him, the race will not be realistic.
"There is no competition in the DP. They make fun of people. There is a competition for Berisha for mayor and I believe he will be alone. There are no opponents there and the few who are opponents, they have driven them out, they have expelled them. They have given a signal that whoever comes out, 'there is no room for others here'. This is Berisha's party and this story is closed. In fact, there has only been a competition in the DP once, once when Berisha was there.
One person came out there and he doesn't know why he accepted that grotesque position, because he wasn't a bad man. Since the statute states that there should be 2 candidates, I don't know how they'll resolve this round. I believe that this round will also see a character emerge who... Shehi also said that Berisha's goal is only to defeat opponents within the opposition, but not to overthrow the government of Prime Minister Edi Rama.
"With Berisha, the DP has no more victories. Berisha wins the race with rivals within the party and with the rest of us, of course he has won, to be the main character of the opposition. But the opposition must defeat Edi Rama. That is why we need a new political trajectory, to pave the way for those who are younger than us," he concluded for "Report TV".
