The deputy of the Democratic Party, Saimir Korreshi, has commented on the Special Anti-corruption Commission that is expected to be established tomorrow at the plenary session in the Assembly.
Korreshi stated that this commission is being established without having an object, while also asking some questions.
"Up to point 7 of the resolution everything is 'ok', here it is known that everything has been captured by crime and corruption. What worried us and what should worry Albanians is the 8th point of the resolution, which is the setting up of this commission. Which means that in the 8th point, apart from the establishment of an investigative commission, there is no object of this commission's activity. So where is the object of this commission's activity? What will this commission produce? We are going to set up a commission tomorrow, without knowing what this commission deals with" , said Korreshi.
Among other things, Korreshi calls the MPs stupid if they vote for such a commission.
"It is known that in Albania the largest or most powerful field of all is the legislative field, that is, the parliament of the Republic of Albania. Tomorrow we 140 fools there give us the brains to merge everything with the prosecutor's office, with the courts because this is what we have, that we, by means of a majority vote of 140 deputies, can remove the Constitution and return the sultans, and install Sultan Skënderbeu of Elissa", said Korreshi.
