The DP leadership decided in a meeting that lasted no more than 120 minutes on the political action of this political force, on the eve of the start of the new parliamentary session.
And while there were previously doubts that the Democrats might boycott or burn their mandates in Parliament, Berisha has put an end to speculation: the DP MPs will be in Parliament, despite not knowing the election results.
But there will also be a mix of scenarios, where protests and revolts will not be lacking, a proposal that was put forward at the Presidency meeting by former MP Ervin Salianji. The latter has requested that protests begin as soon as possible, a proposal that was supported by Berisha and then by the Presidency of the DP.
Salianji has requested that the protests begin on September 12, the day when the Assembly will hold its first plenary session, but it seems that the time available to organize is insufficient, which according to reports from the Presidency, has not been much enthusiasm regarding the proposed date.
In a statement to the media after the Presidency meeting, Democratic leader Sali Berisha said that there were various proposals on the steps to be taken.
Asked by journalists, Berisha said he agrees with Ervin Salinji's proposal for protests and revolt.
"A fair proposal for protests and revolts, I 100 percent agree with Salianji, We will start them as soon as possible. I guarantee our supporters that today they are facing a new and great mission. The mission of saving Albania from authoritarian dictatorship," said Berisha.
Meanwhile, regarding parliamentary activity, the DP will request the establishment of Investigative Commissions at the start of the new legislature. One of them will be the one on the McGonigal case, which the Democrats, led by Sali Berisha, accuse Prime Minister Edi Rama of doing in what they consider one of the biggest affairs.
Berisha even claims that he has very important evidence and facts that could help the United States of America to complete the investigation into this affair.
"And we are ready to assist the investigation in the US if they request it. We have evidence and facts that are useful to them," Berisha declared. /Pamphlet/
