The Special Court has remanded in prison former Socialist Party MP Jurgis Çyrbja, accused of "Revealing state secrets by citizens, committed more than once", "Supporting the perpetrator of the crime" and "Passive corruption in elections" against three suspects.
The Black Platoons approved the measure of arrest in prison for the former socialist MP until the end of the trial, rejecting his request.
The SPAK file states that former MP Jurgis Çyrbja had a friendship with Altin Hajri, promising the latter assistance in exchange for votes during the elections.
According to SPAK, there are suspicions that Jurgis Çyrbja, Altin Hajri and Ahmet Masha have coordinated various criminal activities through communications on the "Sky ECC" and "Matrix" applications.
Ergys Çyrbja was first elected as a Socialist Party MP in 2017 in the Durrës district.
