Sali Berisha has continued from the DP headquarters the allegations of the forcible closure of Parliament, in order to prevent citizens from being informed about the abuses and links to crime within the majority.
"The parliament was closed by Edi Rama and Niko Pelesh, who wanted at all costs that Albanians not learn about the monstrous thefts and abuses of Edi Rama, his family and his ministers," Berisha declared.
He added that the basis for the interruption of the parliamentary session was efforts to hide criminal connections with MPs and government ministers.
Describing the situation as "an ongoing battle," Berisha announced that the opposition will take all necessary institutional steps to oppose what it calls "violations of the constitution," including a motion of no confidence against the Speaker of the Assembly, Niko Peleshi, which, according to him, will be sent to the Constitutional Court.
Berisha stated that protests will be the main form of opposition action in the coming days.
"I guarantee you that protest, and only protest, is the only way the opposition has to impose the law and the constitution on this narco-regime," he concluded.
