The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has called on Edi Rama and the Municipal Council that Mayor Erion Veliaj should be allowed to speak at the meeting where his dismissal will be voted on.
According to Berisha, if Rama is not afraid, he should allow Veliaj to be present at this meeting.
"Erion Veliaj is where he is. The DP has denounced his crimes with 47 protests addressed directly against him. It has never done this because of the major problems and internal political quarrels it has had with Edi Rama and Lubi Balluku."
In my deepest conviction, he is directly responsible for the disappearance of 130 million euros of the Tirana arsonist, along with Rama and Lubi Balluku. The act of Altin Troplini for the Tirana arsonist will remain in the greatest shame, the ugliest crime, that they issued an arrest warrant for a minister who had opposed the arsonist 5 times, and did not question Rama and Lubi Balluku about where the money went.
So, this is the truth. Erion Veliaj is being punished for the wardrobe, the thefts that his family members have committed. Don't think it's a small thing.
What we are asking for is that Erion Veliaj be allowed to speak before the Municipal Council, our councilors are the first to have requested his dismissal and the vote is automatically for dismissal. If Rama is not afraid of Veliaj for his crimes, let him speak.
