From protests to hunger strike in Parliament, Balliu reveals the DP's

Klevis Balliu, a member of parliament from the Democratic Party, invited to the "Off the Record" studio on A2 CNN, was asked if he would agree to a hunger strike inside Parliament as part of the opposition's strategy.

"I think we should try everything. Nothing should be ruled out. Simply, we should think carefully about every act we take and we should make long-term plans for our political action. I think that it is essential at this time to inform the international community about Edi Rama's electoral crime and the connections he has with organized crime," said Balliu.

He further added that "there is disinformation through some SP backrooms that only travel around the world to misinform our country's allies. This approach should be combined with other actions."

When asked what will happen during the summer, Balliu said that "we have held protests during the summer, but it is not the opposition's mission to only hold protests."

"The opposition will not be able to do anything if society does not support a plan to bring about free and fair elections. The opposition can do whatever it wants. Democracies are born from civic revolt in every country," Balliu explained.
