Critical voices within the DP increase, the incident in Kamëz irritates key figures in the party...
Sali Berisha seems to be getting out of hand. Although he has been trying to quell critical voices for months, it seems that "the pilaf no longer holds water." The one who "spills the beans" was Flamur Noka, who with his arrogant behavior yesterday towards a lady in the Kamza branch, has caused rebellions to erupt in the DP.
But the most powerful blow came from Ervin Salianji, who gathered the most voted candidates in the primaries in a meeting and signaled that things were moving from within.
According to information, the meeting that lasted nearly 3 hours in one of the hotels in Tirana was attended by, in addition to Salianj, Ilir Alimehmeti and Hysen Kadiu, the former of whom was among the most voted names on the open list of the Democratic Party in the Tirana District, while the latter was the most voted name in the primary, but did not run for MP.
Also present at the meeting were Gentian Çela, Qani Xhafa, Aulon Kalaja, Ted Kolliku, Alma Kore, Parid Mahmutaj, Xhemal Gjunkshi , etc. At this meeting, they talked about how the DP should be improved and about the possibility of calling the National Council to discuss how political action should continue.
It is also announced that this meeting will not be the last, but similar ones will be periodic with more names at the table.
But as Salianji has started the movements, it seems that many Democrats are very irritated with Flamur Noka, who yesterday was filmed clashing with a Democrat at the Kamza branch. He went so far as to show the lady the door, who did not let him in afterwards. Today there have been several reactions against him, starting from Edmond Spaho, Myslim Murrizi or Adriana Kalaja.
Edmond Spaho: "On top of this arrogance, serious mistakes and electoral losses over the years in the DP have been raised. How can you leave the DP in the hands of this irresponsible person? His objective is to eliminate anyone who thinks differently from Berisha and Muli and maintain his seat in the opposition as Secretary General. Have you seen any politician anywhere in the world expel militants when they think differently from him? That's why only 200-300 people gather in protest..."
Myslim Murrizi: "A little slower Flamur. Slow down if you haven't burned the conspiracy of the bastards because it's not the Democrats' fault that since 2013 you became an MP without being voted for by the citizens by being locked into lists according to the bastard electoral code. The members of the DP are neither your subordinates nor are they paid, but they are idealists, courageous and people who have sacrificed a lot of effort from themselves for every battle that the DP has fought in 35 years. You have been paid Flamur since 2005 from their contribution and sacrifice."
Adriana Kalaja: "'Call to mind' before it's too late... Behind the doors, we were almost slapped in the face with arrogance. Maybe they don't understand, because they don't have one (face). And when this is done openly, in front of the public and without shame, imagine what happens behind those doors... So, call to mind, before it's too late..."
So it seems that things are moving. Berisha stated that after the ODIHR report, forums will be convened to analyze the election defeat. So far, there has been no movement and the Democrats have begun to understand that Berisha is trying to hold on to the party by force through Mul Noka and Albana Vokshi.
