In the Elbasan district, the counting of preferential votes has officially begun and after the first 6 ballot boxes have been opened, the first results have begun to give the first signals about the ranking of the candidates.
Currently leading the race is Ervina Meta, who has collected 158 votes, taking a clear advantage over her closest follower, Sara Mila, with 126 votes.
They are followed by Olsi Komici (49 votes), Agron Gaxho (47), Luan Duzha (35), Shkëlqim Bullari and Musa Coha with 34 votes each. Then come Ela Toçka (31), Geldon Fejzo (26) and Aulona Bylykbashi (24).
This is a preliminary start of the counting, which nevertheless gives the first signals of possible clashes within the lists, especially if this trend continues in the remaining boxes. The race for the personal vote seems to be strong, and may produce surprises in this district as well. The PS has received 10 mandates in Elbasan and it means that 5 names are entered from the open list. While the PD has 4 mandates and even loses 1 mandate from the closed list.
