The leader of the "Shqipëria Bëhet" coalition, Adriatik Lapaj, has declared that the political entity he leads is very close to securing its first parliamentary mandate, specifically in the Fier district.
In a statement to the media, Lapaj stated that, according to current projections, his coalition has passed 7,000 votes in Fier and with the inclusion of diaspora votes, aims to reach 9,000 votes, a figure that could give them their first mandate in the Assembly - taking it from the Socialist Party.
"We are making sure that every vote cast by citizens is counted. It is being counted at every table. With this projection that we are in now, I think that the first mandate for our movement will be in the Fier region," he said.
Lapaj emphasized that these are votes of dignity, considering support for the Initiative as a “new plant planted with great dedication.” He also criticized the lack of unity of the new political forces, which he described as an obstacle that has penalized them in this process.
"I am here to protect every vote, because we consider it as the trust of every citizen. This is a new plant that we are planting with great dignity and there are 70 thousand votes of dignity. The mandate, if we take it, will be taken away from the SP," he concluded.
With the countdown nearing its end and the gradual inclusion of diaspora votes, it is awaited with interest whether the Lapaj Initiative will make its first entry into the Albanian Parliament a reality.
