Today, a protest took place in front of the Presidency of the Assembly after yesterday's clash in the Media Commission where Gazment Bardhi and Flamur Noka interrupted Flutura Açka's speech.
They did not let the head of the Commission speak by removing her microphone. The official DP spokesperson Mirela Karabina told the media that the two MPs used verbal violence against Açka, as she emphasized that such cases should not happen again in the Parliament.
"The two MPs have embarrassed everyone who was there. The female deputies of the Albanian parliament proved the power of a woman's speech. What came out of violence, instead of violence and screams, reason and logic triumphed. Such cases should not have been in the parliament and should not happen again", said Karabina.
The Secretary for Women in SP Taulanda Jupi said that what happened yesterday was intolerable, as according to her there was verbal violence and bullying language.
She also stated that the violent deputies in the Parliament of Albania do not distinguish anything from other abusers of girls and women.
