An episode of debate took place today between Democratic MP Saimir Korreshi and Socialist Zegjine Çaushi. During a meeting in the Laws Committee, Korreshi mocked the laws brought by the majority for approval.
While Korreshi was delivering his speech in the Commission, Çaushi interrupted him several times, not allowing him to finish his speech. At these moments, the head of the Commission, Ulsi Manja, intervened, asking the socialist not to interfere anymore, regardless of what Korreshi said.
Excerpts from the debate:
Saimir Korreshi: Hey, don't put a hidden camera on us and don't let this session be a hidden camera for the new year. You are being ridiculous with this law.
Ulsi Manja: The session is public, we are live, in the sunlight, if you want, you can also raise the shutters.
Ulsi Manja: Mrs. Çaushi, we ask you, Mr. Korreshi, please continue with your speech.
Saimir Korreshi: I have a problem with the card test they passed, that they bring us these kinds of laws. They passed the neuro-psychiatric test, because to come with these laws here you have to pass the neuro-psychiatric test
Zegjine Çaushi: Who should go through this?
Ulsi Manja: Ms. Çaushi, please. Let's get a little serious because Albania has law number 60/2016 in force.
Saimir Korreshi: The minister did not come there, the minister comes here. You have a big problem with how you should fill the place because there will be many requests for spies. Here are the spies. With this law we are not doing Albania any honor, do whatever you want to yourself. You are creating a kind of spy war.
Ulsi Manja: Is it possible for you not to intervene when MPs are speaking, no matter what they want to say.
