During the review of the draft law on some amendments to Law No. 60/2016, "on whistleblower reporting and protection", as amended, initiated by MP Erion Malaj, the chairman of the committee Ulsi Manja was involved in a debate with member Tedi Blushi.

Ulsi Manja: The draft law, or as it is otherwise known, the whistleblowers' draft law. For the reporting and protection of whistleblowers, is an initiative of MP Erjon Malaj.

Ulsi Manja: Hold on, man, hold on. It'll be your turn to speak and you'll waste it.

Ulsi Manja: We have merged the initiatives, this is called in another language, it is called the whistleblowers' law, Mr. Blushi, but since in the existing version not many people have blown the whistle with the old law, we have brought the new law so that more people blow the whistle to fight corruption in public administration.
Tedi Blushi: You don't hear them when we blow the whistle.
Ulsi Manja: Why should we listen to them when you've been whistling the nightingale all day in vain.
