The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, speaking at a press conference at the blue headquarters, declared that the opposition will launch protests as the only way to create a technical government and restore free voting.
The Chief Democrat also spoke about Adriatik Lapaj's protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office, who congratulated and greeted the leader of the "Albania Becomes" Party for the rally he is holding.
"Now, as you know, this Pulpit outside the Prime Minister's Office started weeks ago. Adriatik Lapaj has started a protest for which I salute and congratulate him. I support his protest and his act. Unquestionably. That gentleman has decided to do the maximum of what he can do and he is doing it. That's all I can say about him," Berisha said.
Activists of the "Albania Becomes" Movement, led by Adriatik Lapaj, and several citizens have been protesting in front of the Prime Minister's Office for days.
The protest was also accompanied by a clash between police forces and Lapaj, after the police again asked them to remove the tents they had set up in front of the Prime Minister's Office building to stay overnight.
Citizens have opposed the police actions by not allowing the tents to be removed, and this has led to a clash between the two parties.
For several days, a group of citizens and activists from the "Albania Becomes" movement, led by Adriatik Lapaj, have been protesting in front of the Prime Minister's Office. They oppose Prime Minister Edi Rama's stance not to dismiss Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku, who has been indicted by SPAK.
