Sali Berisha, leader of the DP, during a media conference, said that the signatures for Endrit Shabani have been withdrawn, while adding that the only way out is protest.
Berisha even said that anyone who has the courage should join the December 22 protest.
"Words are not carried away by the wind. Signatures are not words. Signatures are drawn with a signature."
So, an apology was requested, as is normal, but the signatures given to Endrit Shabani were withdrawn not verbally, because they could have been withdrawn verbally, but were withdrawn with signatures from each person.
So, the signatures have become zero from those who had signed. There is a problem here. There is a slanderous propaganda, with which Edi Rama is trying to wash his hands like Pontius Pilate.
And I say to the Democrats, don't be fooled. And I say to the citizens, don't be fooled. That Endrit Shabani was never elected with the signatures of Democratic MPs. That every Democratic MP, with his signature, withdrew the signature that was given to him, at a time when there was a kind of coalition for the Municipality of Tirana.
"So, the truth is this. Propaganda is propaganda. I ask the democrats to look the truth in the eye and not the deceptive propaganda of Edi Rama and the crypto-ramists, because it does not bring any benefit," said Berisha.
