Prime Minister Edi Rama is holding a meeting with farmers in the Elbasan region today. During the meeting, Rama emphasized that the EU comes as a blessing to those who are prepared and a curse to those who are not ready.
"The EU comes as a blessing to those who are prepared and a curse to those who are not ready. There are four years and they are enough to prepare for that day, so that that day finds you ready to take further steps forward. Not to be knocked down by a storm. I invite you to be more active in financial support", Rama said, among other things.
Prime Minister Edi Rama, among other things, stated that the new governing mandate is the most difficult in terms of the weight of challenges. Regarding the import-export ratio, Rama said that he aims to achieve a ratio of 3 exports to 2 imports.
"What is important is that we have reversed the ratio of exports to imports. Our goal is to achieve 3 exports, 2 imports when it comes to agricultural production. In the national scheme alone, we have a budget almost double the one of the year that is ending. As for the direct scheme, all payments will be closed within this year, 100%," said Rama.
