Invited to the Italian channel TG4, he declared that Melon's gesture was inappropriate, but he exploded at Prime Minister Rama, demanding that Albania also compensate for the thefts that Albanians have made in the homes of Italians. According to him, if this were to happen, the Albanian state would go bankrupt.
"It is important that Prime Minister Rama now tells his ambassador to compensate Italy for the 20 years of theft," he said, among other things.
This statement also caused the reaction of the singer Ermal Meta, twice winner of Sanremo.
“Dear Tommaso, it seems the antennas pointing West, (the only possible direction) have taught some people to be dishonest. Common places are often masked, but as soon as a situation passes and frowns react themselves for what they are. That they are small. And I'm sorry because I think you are a very intelligent person" - wrote Meta.
