Prime Minister Edi Rama has criticized the mayor of Kuçova, Kreshnik Hajdari, during a meeting on the implementation of the Mountain Package, an initiative aimed at the economic development of mountainous areas.
Rama criticized the mayor for not sending the map of priority areas to the government, accusing him of not understanding how the legal process works.
Replicas:
Rama: You, Kreshnik, for example, what prevented you from making the map of priority areas and sending it to the government. Why didn't you submit it, where did you submit it?
Kreshnik Hajdari: We have declared the areas as priority areas for the Prime Minister
Rama: You identify the areas, take them to the Minister of Local Government and the Minister presents them to the government table for approval.
Kreshnik Hajdari: We are waiting for the response from ASHK
Rama: If you are waiting for the answer from ASHK, you have not understood the law and you have not understood the package. The package is the medicine for a 30-year pain of people who have land, have not received 7501, or for many reasons have not yet received the document that gives them in writing what they usually have and want to invest in their land, but we have all raised our hands for years because they do not have the papers.
