Klevis Balli's warning: Escalation in the next protest, inevitable!

The organizational chief in the Democratic Party, Klevis Balliu, says that the opposition protests will escalate in the context of civil disobedience.

Balliu also responded to the statement of Prime Minister Edi Rama, who said that there were only two citizen protests in Albania; that against chemical weapons and the student protest.

At this point, Klevis Balliu, invited to Klan News, said that the opposition and citizens should not listen to what the Prime Minister says, but act.

" The Prime Minister should look at the protests in the context of the emancipation they had. There have been various protests during this time and today those protests have escalated and are reaching a culminating moment, which clearly understood today that this man has every plan and every project only for the protection of his money and his own being and has zero interest in the well-being and money of Albanian citizens.

Second, his cabinet has changed because from 2013 to today 70% of his cabinet is in prison. In this context, it is not very important what the Prime Minister says. The Prime Minister had time to resolve these issues. He has been Prime Minister for 12 years with absolute power.

We need to stop listening and talking and start acting. Who cares what Edi Rama says. Edi Rama is a thief, he stole from Albanians, today he needs the power to keep the money in his bank account and to stay out of prison. That is the mission of Edi Rama. Because Edi Rama is not in power for 24 hours, he is at 313 with his friends, there is no discussion about this, he knows. But this is not something that should make an oppositional man happy, on the contrary, it should make us more responsible and aware of the situation, because it means that this man is playing for his own head and will use all his power , all their own criminals, all their own money to keep this power. Then we too must be ready to make any sacrifice to face and remove it ," he said.

Klevis Balliu announced that the opposition is preparing the next protest and that the escalation will be inevitable.

" We are preparing the next protest, which the government says that the law does not allow, that it wants to limit it. For protests, we only announce, and the announcements from today onwards are only public, we don't even bother to go and inquire whether they are interested in us at all. They ask us to designate a square, our square is Albania. This is civil disobedience. We are preparing for the next protest, which due to a lack of response from this government, the escalation of that protest is inevitable. And every protest should be escalated until the government does not respond to the citizens ", said Balliu.
