The political leader of the Democratic Party for Elbasan, Tomorr Alizoti, believes that the opposition coalition will manage to obtain 7 mandates in this district in the May 11 elections, if the process is not affected by pressure from gangs and crime.
According to him, social anger has reached its peak and citizens are openly expressing their opposition to Edi Rama's government, so he hopes that this type of revolt will be converted into a punitive vote for the Socialist Party.
" I hope once again in the city I have been received extremely well. Wherever we go on the ground, we meet people and the reception has been even better than in Berat in 2021. I hope for a big change in social anger. The silence of citizens is usually a kind of anger with the government and I hope to see it this time. With the concept and feeling I have, I see Elbasan even beyond 7. If this feeling is there and the votes will be BIO. I hope that throughout Albania that the popular anger will be very great. I do not trust the polls, totally not, but I hope for great social anger, because everyone I meet, people openly tell me I was from the SP and they have a very big anger ," said Alizoti on the "Debat" show, on A2 CNN.
Alizoti further emphasized that there is hope that Albania will be liberated from organized crime on May 11th and demanded that the SP and DP, in unity, rid the parliament of bandits in political suits.
" If this government continues without a concept for agriculture, tourism, the economy and a vision for the Albanian nation, this is a failure. This has turned into an industry with vote buying, organized crime together with the state and the administration. This is not good for either the SP or the socialists and I am saying this this time, in the left-wing areas that I have been to, people no longer want it. And I am convinced that the great liberation of Albania will happen on May 11. Not that the opposition will do wonders because they cannot do them even if they wanted to, but the liberation of Albania from organized crime must happen. Organized crime should not have any kind of right to have a political definition, both for the SP and the DP. Any criminal who dares to enter, should be imprisoned and disappear forever from the political scene. The crime bosses here have been made to look like great thinkers. They cannot build the future of Albania, the villains. They are involved everywhere. And it is the prime minister who finds it easier to operate with them, than with "his own party members ," declared Alizoti.
