But today the first signal was given that Berisha is heading towards the exit with a new force. It was MP Luan Baçi who said in a show that the name of the party should be changed. According to him, they have been robbed of their seal and they are being forced to take refuge in other parties, referring here to the alliance with Meta. Therefore, according to him, the best way is to be a separate political force.
Meta left Berisha in the mud. After the elections, he never spoke about vote manipulation and it seems as if the coalition has gone downhill. Berisha does not want to come under the wing of PL in the next elections and is giving signals for the creation of a new force.
" DP is what it is and we cannot change it. The name can be changed, an extraordinary Assembly of the DP meets and takes decisions and the decisions are of the most different to name the DP with a slightly different name, but telling the democrats that we are the DP but for reasons of the stamp, that they have usurped and not to take refuge in other parliamentary parties that may have electoral costs for us. 520 thousand votes received in the unequal elections and we proved again that this is the opposition ", said Baçi in a show.
It has been rumored for some time that Berisha may try to come up with a new party. Likewise, in the Assembly, an attempt can be made to create a parliamentary group. However, it remains to be seen if such a thing will be achieved, since Berisha has used the DP as a bunker for his own troubles. DP is the first opposition force and Berisha tried its leader to justify any kind of investigation or arrest. In SPAK, the files have increased significantly and Berisha uses the PD logo to defend himself, with the idea that if he is arrested, he will come out and it means that the leader of the opposition is being arrested. However, it seems that the waters are very turbulent within the opposition camp.
