PD asked to forgive Salianji/ Manja: Amnesty does not consider proper names,

PD sent an amendment to the Assembly, with which it seeks amnesty for MP Ervin Salinji. This document was submitted on Tuesday by Ferdinand Xhaferri, who requests that every person who has been sentenced to 2 years in prison by the first degree and has not yet been given a decision by the appeal, be pardoned.

Regarding this, invited to "Real Story", the Minister of Justice, Ulsi Manja, said that amnesties do not take proper names into consideration, regardless of function or duty

" From this amnesty, if it receives the vote of 84 deputies, approximately 700 convicts who are currently in our institutions and about 2 thousand 72 convicts on probation will benefit. Amnesty does not consider proper names, regardless of what function or duty they hold. We have a clear position, we have excluded from the amnesty all persons convicted or investigated and tried for crimes against justice. This is an attitude and names are not considered here. We have said that whoever has been convicted of a crime against justice does not benefit from amnesty. We have not given this right to men, women, or minors, we have simply included them as a beneficiary category. I don't want to stop at concrete names ", said Minister Manja, among other things.
