The Assembly convened today for the next plenary session, following the one on September 18, where the new government was voted into office in just 25 minutes, due to the chaos created by the opposition.
DP MP Jorida Tabaku has refused to approve the minutes of the previous session, requesting in writing the denial of Gazment Bardhi's speech to discuss the SP's governing program.
Tabaku requested correction of the minutes, while saying that the government program cannot be passed without a parliamentary debate.
"In fact, it should be clarified that everything that happened in violation of the parliamentary regulations. The chairman of the DP parliamentary group requested the floor for a procedure to discuss the government program. All this is not reflected in the minutes you presented. It is the first time that the government has been approved without discussing the government program. We have requested a repeat of the session. They cannot leave the Albanians in the shade. This is related to the minutes with the clarification of the previous session. The first time Peleshi and I do not believe that you want to keep this stain.
"I understand that the government has neither a program to discuss nor a vision, but you cannot deny the right of the opposition and Albanians to have a parliamentary debate. You cannot take away our right to speak, and you cannot violate the rules of procedure. You must reflect in the minutes that the chairman of the DP parliamentary group was denied the floor," said Tabaku.
