The leader of the Nisma Thurje, Endri Shabani, was asked on the 'Repolitix' show if he would accept being the opposition candidate for mayor of Tirana.

Shabani said he has no plans to do so, emphasizing that he needs time to gain the trust of citizens, after the 'fight' with Adratik Lapaj for the mandate.

"I am a member of the municipal council, and this is the city where I was born and I am concerned about what is happening in Tirana. But it has nothing to do with Berisha. And one of the obstacles that the opposition has is that it is Berisha who is not competing with Rama but with other opposition parties, he wants the monopoly of his party. I am not ready at this moment for what happened during the summer with Lapaj, I will need more work to regain the trust of the citizens. It is not in my plans," said Shabani.
