The deputy of the Democratic Party, Tomor Alizoti, during the hearing session for the ambassador of Israel, said that today's diplomacy has turned into a diplomacy of heads.
According to Alizot, Israel is a delicate country that produces a lot of politics, he added that foreign diplomacy is a national issue and not a political one.
'In foreign policy, we cannot choose the best student, but the best connoisseur of that country. Foreign policy in Albania has turned into a place of gossip. Israel is a very important country geopolitically speaking, and I would like to see a person, ma'am or sir, who knows quite well the history of Israel, the major conflicts in Israel, but you are not doing it, as your CV is too rich and you appear to me to be a noble lady, which would be better in UNESCO, since Israel is a delicate country, which produces a lot of politics, we as Albania have found ourselves at a moment when we had to vote for or against. That's why it has the title of excellence, and I think that this is for politics, which is not a place for people, but there is also a diplomatic body, and there are people who aspire to this. There are people who have started from the lowest rank to the highest. Foreign diplomacy is a national issue, not party politics. People who love the prime minister can stay in diplomacy, as the most knowledgeable are often rebels. If you were in another country, I would be with you, but in Israel I am not with you!'- Alizoti said.
