The head of "Nisma Thurje", Endri Shabani, sees Sali Berisha's battle with SPAK as wrong and thus losing points.
Speaking on the show "Top Story" about the measure given to Berisha by the Appeal of GJKKO 'obligation to appear', he said that this is the easiest measure and that it does not prevent him from campaigning at all.
" This is the easiest measure, it is an obligation to appear, at this point this discussion takes place in court. Sali Berisha as a defendant has the right to request a lighter measure. As a party leader, it does not prevent him from campaigning. From a statesman's point of view, I am concerned that the prosecutors investigating him are being attacked. I think a statesman should face his own battles and if he wins them get compensation.
From the point of view of Albanian society, I compare what justice we had and what we have, and I am glad that those who were the architects of the transition are being investigated. According to Berisha's discourse, it is better not to have SPAK, but I don't see that. His battle is to undo SPAK.
I think that the healthiest and largest part of the Albanian society loves SPAK and wants even more results. I believe that Berisha does not fight as a politician but as an individual who will protect the interests of his family members, daughter, son and son-in-law. As a politician, he loses points in the battle with SPAK, and I think it's the wrong battle ", says Shabani.
