The President of Albania, Bajram Begaj, paid a one-day visit to Ohrid, where he met with the President of North Macedonia, Stevo Siljanovska-Davkova.
During the meeting, the two leaders discussed opportunities for strengthening bilateral and regional cooperation, emphasizing the importance of European integration for both countries.
Begaj noted that Albanian factors in North Macedonia are an essential bridge for the development of stable and progressive relations between the two states.
He added that joint projects, such as economic, infrastructural, cultural and social ones, are possible and very important for both peoples. After the meeting, the two counterparts expressed their joint commitment to advance relations and contribute to the development of the region.
