The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, awarded Prime Minister Edi Rama the highest Ukrainian decoration, 'Yaroslav the Wise'.
For the first time, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is visiting Albania, as a co-organizer of the "Ukraine - Southeast Europe" Summit that will be held today in Tirana with the participation of leaders from Southeast Europe and the Western Balkans.
The summit is a meeting of solidarity and further commitment of the democracies of the countries against Russian aggression, where they will discuss how they can work together and offer support to Ukraine, as well as contribute to the security and stability of our region and Europe.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Edi Rama showed Zelensky his office and then gave him a gift.
Rama's gift to Zelensky was a book with the inscription 'Edi Rama' on the top, where the prime minister's well-known sketches appeared on the cover.
We recall that Zelensky arrived yesterday evening in Tirana, where he was received by Foreign Minister Igli Hasani. His visit is accompanied by strict security measures.
