Today, DP MP Jorida Tabaku spoke about the EU's progress report on Albania.
According to Tabaku, the progress report was not as positive as the majority said. The MP listed several issues by reading them from the progress report during her speech in the Assembly.
"It cannot deprive us as the opposition of the right to read the report as it was. Black on white. First, the progress report says that elections are not won with ideas, but with power, and this is not said by the opposition, but by a considerable part of the report that considers the vote not free. Albania held good elections, but not fair. Second, for integration, promises are not enough, but every reform must be credible and implemented. There is no need for propaganda. The Assembly has no control over the government, the progress report says. Moreover, regarding public administration, the progress report speaks of a politicized and biased public administration, " said Tabaku.
