The SP MP, Erion Braçe, has reacted strongly regarding the affairs with concessions in healthcare. He took the floor in the framework of the report of the head of the Supreme Audit Institution (KLSH), where he issued strong accusations against the Mandatory Health Insurance Fund (FSDKSH). The Supreme Audit Institution has discovered many abuses by this body.
" The findings of the KLSH are important as far as the FSDKSH is concerned, which has come to collapse and be rebuilt from scratch. The findings of the KLSH that reimbursed medicines were paid for dead people is an element that the scheme is corrupt. The finding of the KLSH of a connection in this scheme between doctors using patients, their prescriptions, and pharmacies for certain brands of medicines is a finding that brings to attention that the scheme is corrupted by making the medicine reimbursement policy worthless. This policy should be changed so that people who are truly in need receive 100% reimbursed medicines and those who corrupt the scheme should not be part of it," he said.
He then went on to discuss the hemodialysis concession. According to the SP MP, it is leaking money, not blood.
" PPP contracts are ending and the findings of the KLSH should serve as evidence for the end of these contracts. A concession that comes year after year from the KLSH is that of hemodialysis, which has within a trajectory not blood, but money, which goes from one hand to another and in the end are payments from the state budget for an unprovided service. What I have requested is that the KLSH fully audit the PPP contracts in healthcare that are within the deadline to help decision-makers make a clear decision on those contracts ," said Braçe.
