The protest of February 20, Berisha: It will open the doors of Albania's

Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, in his daily speech from the apartment, also spoke about the February 20 protest.

He called it the citizens' day and the day that will open the doors of the European Union for Albania.

Berisha threw accusations at the majority and Edi Rama, above all for the departure of Albanians from the country.

"Edi Rama came to power by promising the Albanians dozens and dozens of favors and promises with which he vowed that he would fundamentally change their lives.

That all without exception proved to be frauds and even worse, the man who promised free healthcare, brought that healthcare in which today, each of you pays out of pocket for healthcare, more than any citizen in Europe. Pays out of pocket 60 percent of the necessary expenses. Pays 50 percent more out of pocket than it did in 2013.

He came to power promising the removal of VAT on food, their release, today every Albanian pays, buys food at 110 percent of the EU average, despite the fact that they have salaries 5 times higher than us Albanians.

The renaissance was, therefore, the biggest deception of the Albanians. We are not the same, not ever, because we made our promises a reality", said Berisha.

The former prime minister, on the other hand, listed the achievements of the democrats during the period of their government.

Berisha once again mentioned the affair of the incinerators as the biggest theft.

"After Edi Rama came to power, he boasted for months and years about the incinerators, which would clean Albania.

In fact, it would be the biggest heist of the century. What this thief called his pride, would be the misfortune of the Albanians.

Today, 130 million euros have disappeared, there is no trace of the incinerator in Tirana, two others are not working.

We are not the same, absolutely never. Edi Rama is the most thieving prime minister that Albania has ever had.

We are not the same, because Edi Rama only celebrated the process of opening the negotiations twice during these years with champagne, decorations, and fireworks. But in reality, even last December, the negotiations were not opened, but on the contrary, Albania received 5 conditions.

February 20 is the day of Europe, it is the day of Albanian citizens to open the doors of integration in Europe.

It is the day to attack Edi Rama's frauds, his thefts", said Berisha.
