The vice-president of the Democratic Party, Roland Bejko, spoke about tomorrow's visit of the American Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken to Tirana.
He said that this visit is not "routine", but very important and of great proportions.
According to Bejkos, the purpose of the visit will be understood at a later time.
"The visit of the American Secretary of State to Albania, since we are dealing with a small country, cannot be considered routine, but of course such visits are like the work of an airplane that looks elsewhere and its noise is heard elsewhere. I have the impression that this visit will be of these proportions.
The visits of American secretaries of state who have come to Albania, not directly for the political elite, have always been important for the Albanian people. Also for the fact that Albania will always be on the American agenda. The Americans seem to consider the Balkans part of their internal politics.
They want Albania to get out of the international traffic pit and return to normalcy. The democracy of the countries of the region must be guaranteed at the moment when the powers are functioning. That's why the Justice Reform, which was done under the special care of the USA, is also important," said Bejko on Report TV.
