Two weeks after Decision No. 39, dated January 24, 2024, with which the government added 2167 employees to government offices, Prime Minister Edi Rama signed another decision No. 62, dated 7.2.2024, which increased the number of employees again.
In this decision, it is said that with the proposal of the Minister of Public Administration and Anti-corruption, Adea Pirdeni; the government has approved 1183 additional jobs in ministries and agencies and directorates under their authority.
These are new jobs, created by order of Prime Minister Edi Rama, who has disguised them as an alleged request of the Minister of Public Administration, "for the improvement of services to the people", when in fact they will serve the party for propaganda.
Unlike the previous decisions on opening jobs; this time, the 1183 new positions in the administration have been created for directors and heads of sectors in the ministries and their subordinate directorates, as an addition to patronage before the 2025 parliamentary elections.
According to the decision, 6 new positions will be for senior managers; 92 will be middle managers; 217 will be lower managers, while 868 places will be for executive positions in the administration.
Starting from February 12, 2024, when the decision entered into force, the 1183 additional officials will be appointed in the offices of the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Internal; of Defense; Finance; Economy-Culture-Innovation; Justice; Infrastructure-Energy; Agriculture; Ministry of Health, Tourism and Education.
