The leader of the Albania Becomes movement, Adriatik Lapaj, has announced today the development of the third national protest against the government of Edi Rama.
In a post on social media, Lapaj announced that the protest will be held on January 17, at 6:00 PM, in front of the Prime Minister's office.
He appeared in the video with a shield in his hands to convey the message that 'unity is strength' while inviting citizens to participate massively. In his message, Lapaj addressed several categories of society.
"On January 17 at 6:00 PM, on Saturday, we must unite en masse in front of Edi Rama's office and the most corrupt government in Europe. Because when we are apart, they break us. If you are a student who does not find justice and emigrates, you must unite. If you are a person who has health problems and does not receive proper treatment, you must unite. If you are a farmer who drowns and has not received compensation, you must unite.
"If you are a former owner who did not receive the right to property, you should unite. If you are a young family that cannot buy an apartment due to expensive prices, you should unite. If you have opened a new business and the tax authorities do not leave you alone, you should unite. If you are a citizen who is facing the lack of quality food in this country, you should unite. If you are faced with corruption, you should unite, because if we all come together, they will have no way of breaking us," said Lapaj.
This is the third national protest called by the Albania Becomes movement.
