Edi Rama, in Thessaloniki, has done nothing but 'Noc Rrokun' 2, going against the USA, as if to show that he can do his crazy tricks in the region...
Edi Rama's speech in Thessaloniki has provoked a controversy between Tirana and Athens, on the issue of a historical forest like that of Vorio Epiri.
But if you look carefully, that speech, which was apparently prepared, and not spontaneous, reveals an even greater provocation, which in reality has nothing to do with Greece.
In his psycho-historical stream, Edi Rama said that Thessaloniki has been a very ethnic center of Albanians, Jews, Greeks, Armenians and Bulgarians. Where the latter, said Rama, were protected by the Bektashis of the city, who shared the well with the "Bulgarians" who were in danger of extinction.
In reality, there were no Bulgarians in Thessaloniki, neither during the time of the Ottomans, nor during the First World War. All of them were residents who came from what is known today as North Macedonia. Who have been called either Macedonians, or residents of Rumelia, or southern Slavs and many such epithets. However, today they have their own state, a member of the UN, NATO and a candidate for the EU.
Edi Rama, even though he appeared to be persuading history, actually made a promotion.
Precisely after the separation of North Macedonia and Albania in the integration process, being attached to the Bulgarian position against Skopje.
While a year before he joked with the German chancellor introducing the Macedonian prime minister, he told Schols that he was the head of Western Bulgaria.
At this moment, in fact, for several years, North Macedonia is being held 'hostage' by Bulgaria. Which is not allowing Skopje to enter Europe, thus legitimizing an inflated nationalism.
Because, according to Bulgaria, the Slavic Macedonians are nothing but Bulgarians. After all, the father of the Macedonian nation, Goce Dellchev, the anti-Ottoman revivalist, is also a hero of Bulgaria. Cyril and Methodius, the creators of the Cyrillic alphabet, are heroes in Macedonia but also in Bulgaria.
However, this is known, the identity problems of the Slavs who were concentrated in one state after the First and Second World Wars, were more complicated for the Muslims of Bosnia, Novi Pazar and those of Macedonia.
Complications that the USA closed in 1992, when it not only recognized the independence of Macedonia, but since that year it has sent a military unit that does not move from the country.
That unit is not only to control, but also simply to show the neighbors that who affects Macedonia has affected the US. And if this happens, they have gone to war with America.
Precisely in Skopje, the USA has the largest and most important embassy in the Balkans, to show that in some way, this is an American land or protected by the Americans.
The Albanians of North Macedonia have always been partners of the USA and within their agenda, but not only them but also the rightists of VRMO who have been allowed by the Americans to invent a new nationalism far from the Bulgarian or even Greek. Since Macedonia is called the whole of Northeast Greece with Thessaloniki as its center, the theory that Macedonia can also take Thessaloniki as its capital was born from the USA alone.
That's why Edi Rama, in Thessaloniki, has done nothing but 'Noc Rrokun' number two, going against the USA, as if to show them that he can do tollovites in the region as well.
