Prime Minister Edi Rama will convene the Socialist Party Assembly in Durrës. After the changes in the government, it seems that it is now the turn of the structures of this party to receive new instructions and directives from their leader.
The meeting will start at 10:00, where the opening speech will be that of the Secretary General of the Socialist Party Blendi Klosi, to then leave the floor to the Socialist leader Rama.
The Socialist Party will also have structures in the diaspora and the decision will be approved at the Assembly meeting.
The Socialists, in addition to Greece, where they currently have a functional structure, will have their branches in 5 other countries, specifically in Italy, Germany, the USA, the United Kingdom and Canada.
To record membership in these countries in the period March 30-September 30, the local structures of the Socialist Party in the 61 municipalities of the country, based on the contacts registered during the last election campaign, will have to re-contact them and inform them about the registration process.
October 1, 2026-March 1, 2027 will see the selection of coordinators of the Socialist Party in the Diaspora and the constitution of the assemblies of the Socialist Party in the Diaspora in the cities, regions or countries where they live.
In the final phase, the Coordinating Council of the Socialist Party for the country will also be constituted. The Socialist Party structures in the diaspora will also have their representatives in the National Assembly.
