Political action and the elections in the Democratic Party were the topic of discussion this Tuesday in the "Quo Vadis" studio.
Present in the studio, journalist Bruna Çifligu emphasized that it has often been discussed that the DP will stage a strike or go on strike, but to date nothing of this has happened.
Regarding this question, DP MP Ivi Kaso stated that the opposition's strongest weapons are used at the most critical moments, emphasizing that all of these are "in play".
Excerpts from the conversation:
Borakaj: Is it impossible for you to do a real analysis?
Kaso: It is a process that is nearing its conclusion. It was supposed to be finished a month ago, but due to the protests it has been delayed. I believe it will be finished by April.
Borakaj: It took you a year?
Kaso: It is a process that we started in February. It was not the will of the DP to start the analysis process at the time the ODIHR report was being prepared.
Xhafo: Do the analysis for yourself, the public doesn't need to know.
Kaso: The DP leadership has the full vision.
Çifligu: Kaso said that we have a multifaceted opposition. It seems to me to be two-faced: parliamentary life and protests. We hear that they will intensify, a strike is an option, a tent is an option, but even that is not happening. You are in parliament, Mr. Kaso, you go to committees. After two weeks, you go to the protest.
Kaso: All alternatives have been considered. The strongest weapons of an opposition are used at the right time.
Çifligu: Is this opposition contradictory?
Kaso: It doesn't seem contradictory to me, since extreme weapons are not used at first.
Chiflig: When is the time?
Kaso: It depends on the citizen reaction and the international reaction that determine the "boiling point" time to use the strongest weapons.
