The Secretary General of the Democratic Party, Flamur Noka, has 'billed' the local branch for the departure of two councilors from the DP group in the Municipality of Durrës.
Noka announced that the request for their exclusion had been filed earlier by the DP structures in Durrës, emphasizing that the decision was made on concrete grounds.
Noka stated that one of the advisors worked for the Socialist Party during the May 11, 2025 elections, while the other is accused of personal gain from the position and collaboration with this political force.

Regarding the government media's disinformation about the motive for the decision to remove two councilors from the group of DP councilors of the Durrës Municipality, we clarify the following:
The two councilors of the DP group in the Durrës Municipality have been removed from the group of councilors and local DP structures at the request of the Durrës DP Branch, which filed this request some time ago.
Arlind Boshku has been confirmed to have worked for the Socialist Party in the elections of May 11, 2025, while Dritan Burgija has used his position as a DP advisor for personal benefits from the Municipality and, according to the report of the Durrës DP Branch, he has worked for the SP.
Any other interpretation is fiction.
