Why are the DP protests dying down? Erisa Xhixho: Opposition tactic, rallies to

The vice president of the Freedom Party, Erisa Xhixho, has accused the police of intending to provoke opposition protesters. She said that during the recent protest, the police tended to rape opposition supporters.

Asked why the DP protests are not continuous like in Serbia, but fade away within a few hours, Xixho said that this is a tactic of opposition parties which gather on certain days to give a message to the government.

"The police should enforce the law and not provoke citizens. The police provoke us into protests. Even in Wilson Square, in the last protest, it was seen that the police wanted to rape citizens, I was part of them. There has been a tendency to not allow citizens' protests. In Serbia, citizens are protesting in the streets. In France, in Brussels, farmers protested in the streets. The government's propaganda is to reduce critical thinking and the voice of the opposition. Every citizen has his Constitutional right to protest.

It is not a suppression. A tactic of the opposition to protest on certain days for the overthrow of the narco-state and to give a strong message about all the injustices that citizens suffer. The opposition protests to be heard by this government. But we also offer our governing alternative for May 11", Xixho told "News 24".
