"Why does SPAK not arrest the 'heads' of the SP?",

The deputy of the Democratic Party, Dhurata Çupi, has stated that the DP is going to the elections while there are three opposition members under arrest.

She said that we have an unfinished electoral reform and a total lack of standards regarding equal inclusion in the campaign.

Çupi stated that the Special Prosecutor's Office should be more careful in compiling files and facts, as according to her the public loses credibility towards SPAK.

She added that it was not necessary to arrest former president Ilir Meta, at a time when he currently has no power and is dangerous for the public. Meanwhile, the deputy emphasizes that there are people in power who commit criminal acts.

"Mr. Berisha's file was not attached as a file that had a criminal offense by Mr. Berisha. Justice must be careful when compiling the file.

It made a fuss at first and then it got banned because people didn't believe it.

The prosecution of SPAK must be careful with the evidence because then trust is lost.

For the procedures followed by Mr. Berisha, they were violated by the prosecution body. On the other hand, there are rulers who have consumed their power until 2013 and their dangerousness is almost zero at this moment.

It is not urgent today to arrest the former president when you have high-ranking officials, mayors, prime ministers who commit criminal acts. No one believes that the three powers in the country today are separate. Today we have only one power, that of the prime minister.

I have consistently supported SPAK, but we cannot give in to legal arrest procedures, as was the case of Meta.

The execution of the arrest warrant is followed by SPAK, it has a legal obligation, it cannot say that I have no responsibility for what happened" , Çupi told "News 24".
