Former MP Myslim Murrizi has reacted harshly to the 35 years of political transition in Albania, describing Albanian democracy as a continuous fraud.
Through a post on Facebook, where he also shared a video from his speech in the Assembly in 2019, Murrizi stated that political power was simply a fake alliance between "friends" of the same ideal.
According to him, the so-called political war has only served as food for militants and as a justification for dividing Albanians into two camps, left and right, but in reality, Albania has never had a truly right-wing political force.
" Real political and governing power has been a false tussle between friends of the same ideal. The political 'war' has been simply fodder for militants and a justification for dividing Albanians into two supposedly left and right camps, but in fact Albania has never had a true right-wing political party. Even the centrist parties have been a mix of ideas, programs and individuals that lean far to the left ," writes Murrizi.
He recalled that he raised the same accusations when he was an MP, during a speech in the Assembly in 2019, but no one dared to respond. "I said this to the face of the Parliament in 2019 and no one muttered a word," the former MP emphasizes.
