Journalist Lavdrim Lita spoke about the composition of the new government.
Lita expressed her belief that there will be both new and well-known figures, adding that anyone can move into government, except for Prime Minister Edi Rama.
He further gave advice to the DP, saying that the opposition should have a better approach to justice and "not lament the plight of some of its political figures in relation to SPAK."
Lita also, in an interview with News24, added that the time has come for the DP to legalize factions in order to create a diversity of ideas and alternatives within the opposition.
Lavdrim Lita: The composition of the new government cabinet will be with new elements, but also those we know. We have seen Vëngu, Delina Ibrahimaj, Pirro Vëngu in the Prime Ministership, there are some current figures who are perhaps being tested in other positions. Anyone can move in the PS, except for the Prime Minister. There are some figures that Rama either activates in other positions or leaves on the "bench". I do not believe that they will be important figures, because the Prime Minister does not want anyone to overshadow him. I believe that the new government will be depoliticized.
The DP should not make the mistake of burning mandates. This opposition is not strong, because Rama has "drunk its main figures", he knows that they do not have enough weight to overthrow him and therefore Edi Rama can form a government even without political figures. The DP must open up. The opposition must change its approach to justice, not just cry about Berisha's problems with justice, Meta's problems with SPAK or Fatmir Mediu's problems with SPAK. Sali Berisha cannot be the only figure and the others in the shadows. The DP must make international allies. The DP must legalize the factions and create an opposition assembly.
