As many cities and villages are under water and thousands of families are isolated, Prime Minister Edi Rama has come out to give citizens directives on how to move around.
Rama has asked citizens to avoid unnecessary movements during these days or to use winter tires for vehicles circulating in mountainous areas or where the presence of snow and frost has been reported.
Further, taking on the role of head of Emergencies, Rama has shown the most problematic cities, villages and roads in the country affected by bad weather, highlighting the areas affected by snow.
"During the night, all operational units in the field, municipal teams, local Civil Emergencies, Armed Forces, medical teams and the Police have been on standby."
