Democratic Party MP, Jorida Tabaku, has commented on the action of Ervin Salianj, who has held several meetings with democrats across Albania.
In 'Afternoon Diary' on A2 CNN, Tabaku stated that more than a clash, Salianj's action seems more like a clash of ideas with the DP leadership.
However, Tabaku said that she did not agree with the way Salianji had chosen to conduct his political action, as according to her, it would be better for discussions to take place within the DP forums.
She also came out against several DP officials who have called for Salijanj's expulsion from the party, saying that now is the time for unity and not division.
" It doesn't seem like a clash to me, more like a clash of ideas. He has chosen his own path, which I don't agree with. I prefer to have discussions in the Presidency, in the Parliamentary Group, we have had enough in television studios. Does the DP need to discuss today? Absolutely. But we must show prudence, maturity and that we are there in the DP regardless of the position that each one has, regardless of the personal interests that each one has.
The biggest one is ahead. I don't think that exceptions should be a word that dominates our vocabulary these moments. Where can we extend our hand, where can we add. We must definitely think about who to take with us, not who to throw away. And in this context, the DP forums should be the centers of debate and discussions , "said Tabaku, among other things.
